Patients and Survivors of COVID-19 Can Access Private Social Networking Communities, Curated Expert Information, Health Tracking Tools and More

Vancouver, BC, September 23rd, 2020 - Canadian digital health company Curatio is leveraging its No Patient Alone mission and technology-based offering into addressing a significant need with the launch of a dedicated COVID-19 Survivors peer-support group within its free mobile app platform.

Available for download on iOS and Android, Curatio’s COVID-19 Survivors group offers a secure and private online environment to connect with other survivors and access expertly curated information, evidence based programs, coaching and daily tracking tools.

“COVID-19 is a completely new territory within the healthcare space, meaning patient and survivor resources are still extremely limited. Many people are looking at uncredited resources online and this can aid in the spread of misinformation”, states  Lynda-Brown Ganzert, CEO of Curatio. “As with all our patient groups, Curatio offers a safe, positive, secure and private space where survivors can access curated and expert resources while connecting with others who are going through the same thing.”

Available in 102 countries and over 20 languages, Curatio’s global availability allows COVID-19 survivors from around the world to connect on the platform, share resources and expand their own support systems.

The Curatio mobile app platform was launched in 2013 to offer patient support and peer-to-peer networking for caregivers, those living with a chronic or rare condition, those living with a disability, or have been diagnosed with heart matters  and more. Earlier this summer, it launched the Stronger Together community within its platform to support patients, expectant parents and those diagnosed with COVID-19.

Using AI, matchmaking and machine learning to connect patients to peer support, evidence based programs, coaching and daily tracking tools, Curatio offers safe, social connection during a time of social distancing.
